Static IP addresses help your business stay connected. With a constantly changing IP address (dynamic), it can be difficult for external devices to find your server, which can impact your website or email hosting, remote access operations, and more.
Static IP addresses are fixed IP addresses that don't change over time. Many businesses use static IP addresses when they host their own servers (email, web, or otherwise), or for situations where external devices need to remember your IP address (helping customer find you online).
You may purchase 1 static IP for your business for $10 per month.
You can call Business Care at 1-855-313-4111 to have a static IP added to, or removed, from your plan. A static IP can be added right away. Removing a static IP will take effect on your next bill cycle date. If you have a static IP removed, be sure to update the device it was assigned to.
Static IP is available on any Viasat Business service plan except for the CAF II Connection 25 service plan.
